The short version
737 for all (73X) is a free, community-made 737 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We collect as little as we can: you can download and fly the aircraft without an account, there is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing on this site is loaded from other companies.
This page explains what is stored when you do use accounts, the beta, support, the Beta Center or the creator dashboard, why, and how you can have it removed.
Who is responsible
737 for all (73X) is run by the 73X team, a volunteer project. You can reach us through the support page or by email to support@73xproject.com. Questions about your data go to the same place.
What we store, and why
- Just visiting or downloading with the launcher: nothing about you. We count downloads (which aircraft or livery, which simulator, which version, which day) as plain numbers, with no address, account or device attached.
- An account (beta testers and livery creators): your email address, your username, and your password stored only as a salted scrypt hash (we cannot read it). We also keep when the account was made, whether it has beta access, which activation keys it redeemed, and the sign-in tokens of your browser and apps. We use this to let you sign in, give you the beta, and send you the emails you expect.
- A beta request: your email address, the username and note you chose to add, and our decision. We use it to send your activation keys.
- Support requests: your email address (we answer there), the message you write, the category and simulator you pick, any screenshot you attach, and our replies and internal notes. If you are signed in the ticket is linked to your account. We use it only to help you.
- Bug reports from the Beta Center: the title and description you write, the steps, the simulator, your aircraft version, an optional screenshot and, if shown in the report window, a short technical summary (Beta Center version, Windows version, simulators found and installed aircraft versions). The report is anonymous: it is not a support ticket, it is not linked to your account or email address, and we cannot reply to it. Because nothing links it to you, we cannot find it again to delete it for you.
- Updates of the Beta Center: each time the Beta Center starts (and when you press "Check for updates") it asks our server whether a newer version exists. The request carries the app version number and, like any web request, your IP address; nothing else, and it is not linked to your account. If there is a newer version the app downloads it and checks its checksum and our digital signature before installing it.
- The Discord role ("Get Beta"): only if you press the button. You sign in on the Discord page and approve it; we receive your Discord user ID and display name, store them next to your account, and use them to give you the Beta Tester role (and, if you are not in our server yet, to add you to it). We do not receive your Discord email address or password and we do not read your messages or friends. You can remove our access at any time in Discord under Settings > Authorized Apps.
- Livery creators: the livery files, picture, name and notes you send, and the downloads of your liveries. Your username is shown publicly in the launcher as the creator name of every livery you publish.
Server logs and security
Like every web server, ours briefly handles your IP address and technical details of the request (time, page, browser) to deliver pages and downloads. The web server writes these to standard access logs that are rotated and deleted automatically, and we use them only to keep the site running and to deal with abuse. We also limit how fast one address can sign in or send forms; that count is held in memory only and is not saved.
How long we keep it
- An account and its data: until you delete the account.
- Support tickets: while they are useful to solve the problem and to spot repeat issues. You can ask us to delete yours at any time, and deleting your account removes the tickets linked to it or sent from its email address. Anonymous Beta Center bug reports: while they are useful to fix the bug. They are not linked to you, so they are not removed when you delete your account.
- Beta requests: until you delete your account or ask us to remove them.
- Your Discord ID and name (from "Get Beta"): until you delete your account or ask us to remove them. Deleting them does not remove your membership or role on Discord itself; ask us to take the role away or leave the server.
- Update checks: not stored by us apart from the standard server logs described above.
- Download counts: kept as anonymous totals.
- Livery files you published: until you or we remove them; people who already installed a livery keep their copy.
Your choices
You can change your username and password, or delete your account yourself on your account page (this removes your sign-ins, beta access, beta requests, support tickets and the data stored with your email address; a used activation key stays used). Liveries you already published stay in the launcher under your creator name unless you remove them first on the creator dashboard.
You can also ask us through the support page or by email to support@73xproject.com to show you what we hold about you, correct it or erase it. If you live in the EU, the UK or another place with data-protection law, you have these rights by law, and you may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The site is for general audiences but accounts are meant for people aged 13 or over (or the age of digital consent where you live). If you think a child has made an account, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy the new version appears here with a new date. The date above is when it last changed: 28 October 2026.
